What are cookies?

Cookies are used to store IT data, usually in the form of text files, on the user’s terminal device (e.g. computer, laptop, smartphone). Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number.

Types of cookies used

Session cookies

They are used to remember choices made by the user and, among other things, when logging in. They remain on the user’s device until the user logs out of the website or closes the browser.

Analysis cookies

Cookies that allow the collection of data related to the use of the website, including the content clicked on by the user while browsing the site.

Use of cookies

Cookies are used to save your settings and adapt the content of websites to your preferences. They are also used to create anonymous statistics which help to understand how users use the websites. This makes it possible to improve their structure and content. Cookies are not used to identify the user and the user’s identity is not established from them.
